So last week was the DNC and it was my first time really watching it. All I can say is can we have these national conventions like all the time? From the inspirational and dramatic speeches to the shots of the attendees who were going from one emotion to the other to the appearances of random celebs to the use of some sort of cheer music to hype up the crowd, the national convention was like a concert meets an awards show meets a reality show—and I loved it!

It turns out Hillary Clinton has no shortage of celebrity fans. The closer we get to the election, the more social media posts I have been seeing of the stars throwing their support behind Hillary. In case you missed some of them, here are the celebs that want to see Hillary become the first female president!

Lena Dunham

Lena spoke at the DNC and has been very active in campaigning for Hillary, calling Hillary “the candidate I’ve been dreaming of stepping on stage my entire life”. She wrote a piece on Hillary in TIME magazine where she explained “I’m with her. Not as some winsome nod to ‘girl power,’ but because I share her bone-deep belief that when women are strong, families are strong, and that makes our country strong.”

Leo is no stranger to world affairs and politics. He is known for his passion for saving the environment and charity work. Leo has supported Hillary by not only donating almost $3000 to her campaign but also hosting fundraisers for her. When asked by media why he was supporting her, he told them “it’s imperative we don’t elect a candidate who doesn’t believe in climate change.” Leo feels Hillary will be a champion of the efforts to protect the planet.

Who can forget this infamous selfie Kim K shared with Hillary (with hubby Kanye in the background) on Instagram last year? They aren’t just taking photos with her, they are also showing their support. Kim has tweeted in support of Hillary and the couple has donated to Hillary’s campaign. Hillary is showing her love right back by telling media that her favourite selfie ever was the one she took with Kim and Kanye. Now as for little sister Kendall, she posted a photo wearing a T-shirt in support of Hillary with the caption “history by @hillaryclinton. #MadeforHistory #ImWithHer”. Looks like mom Kris even got in a photo with the potential president!
