During her visit to India in early 2016, fashion lovers were wondering if the Duchess of Cambridge would wear any Indian designers. Although Kate won with her numerous fashion picks during the tour across India and Bhutan, she didn’t appear to early on wear any Indian designers until I spotted her in a printed tunic dress from designer Anita Dongre.

Kate added an Indian touch for the special dinner via her jewellry

Well it looks like Kate must have really loved her dress because she was spotted wearing a delicate pair of uncut diamond and pearl-drop earrings from Pinkcity by Anita Dongre at the recent reception marking the beginning of the UK-India Year of Culture.

The leading designer attended this reception hosted by the royal family in Buckingham Palace. â€œI feel honoured to have been part of such a wonderful evening that marks the beginning of the UK-India Year of Culture. During my conversation with the Duchess she spoke of her travel to Rajasthan, and we discovered that we share a mutual love for the majestic state. I must add, I was ecstatic to see how absolutely stunning she looked in the handcrafted Pinkcity earrings we custom-designed for her. She said she loved them!” says Anita.
