The last time I saw Jimmy Sheirgill, he was promoting his movie ‘Shareek’ in which he played a serious role. As much as I love seeing good films on relatable topics, I can’t resist a good comedy and it looks like Jimmy is back with a new film and this time he’s setting out to make you laugh!

The film ‘Vaisakhi List’ revolves around two prisoners—Jimmy Sherigill and Sunil Grover—who are trying really hard to get back behind bars.

Wait, why would they want to go back?

The film’s storyline is that these two characters escape from jail but then realize that their jail term will be pardoned by the government on Vaisakhi day on the grounds of their good behaviour in prison.

Actor Sunil Grover is making his Punjabi film debut in this film and you may recognize him as Gutthi from ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil Sharma’. The film also stars Shruti Sodhi, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jaswinder Bhalla, Binnu Dhillon, Rana Ranbir, Nisha Bano and Karamji Anmol.
