Yay! Just like I reported earlier this week, Preity Zinta threw a belated wedding reception in Mumbai for her industry friends on Friday. Preity has been in Bollywood for years so it’s no surprise to see some major B-town names show up to her party including SRK, Salman, Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Karan Johar, Abhay Deol, Farah Khan, Lara Dutta, Juhi Chawla, Dia Mirza, Bobby Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, Yuvraj Singh, and Sophie Choudry.

Shahid Kapoor arrived with pregnant wife Mira. The two just got back from their babymoon in Maldives.

Preity wore a red gown by designer Manish Malhotra while husband Gene Goodenough wore a black suit. The reception was held at the St. Regis in Lower Parel in Mumbai and it was the first official public appearance for the couple. They were married in a secret ceremony in L.A. on February 29^th.

The guest that may have taken the spotlight away from Preity may have been Salman Khan. Salman brought his girlfriend Iulia Vantur to the reception, making this their first official public outing. Although they arrived in separate cars, they made their way inside the reception together. She arrived with Salman’s sister Alvira and his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. Remember how I said previously about Salman feeling the pressure to marry Iulia to fulfill his mother’s wish? Hmm, this is definitely another sign pointing towards a more serious relationship between the two!
