Oh hello Deepika!

The ever gorgeous Deepika Padukone is making a guest appearance in the upcoming Bollywood film Raabta and the film producers have FINALLY released the track in which we see Deepika turn the temperature up onscreen! I mean…that dress alone is wow!

The song has already gone viral, with over 1 MILLION views within hours of its release. When you listen to it, you may recognize it as it is a remake of the track Raabta from the Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor film Agent Vinod.

Raabta stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon but all eyes are on Deepika as she dances her way in the special music number. The song is written by Irshad Kamil and Amitabh Bhattacharya, Pritam composed the music, and Nikhita Gandhi is the lead singer. Here it is!

The film’s director Dinesh Vijan had reached out to Deepika to ask if she would be willing to shoot the title track for his film and she jumped at the opportunity. “Deepika gives attention to small details and that makes all the difference. She sat with me for some time to understand the nuances and mood of the song. After that it was a swift shoot,” he said of the experience, noting they shot the entire song in one night. “I am glad she shot for the title track…I believe she is lucky for me.” Dinesh and Deepika previously worked together on the films “Love Aaj Kal” and “Cocktail”.

The film is scheduled for release June 9^th.
