Meet The Man Who Scaled Donald Trump’s Building Using SUCTION CUPS!

Yesterday (Wednesday) I started getting alerts on my phone about a man being spotted outside the Trump Tower.
For 2 hours and 45 minutes a man climbed up the Trump Tower using suction cups in Midtown Manhattan, NYC and there was tons of people standing below him capturing his every move on their phones. He was definitely trending on Twitter! He was eventually stopped by members of the New York Police department after reaching the 21st floor. The police took him to Bellevue Hospital for a psychological evaluation and was medically cleared.

He has been identified as 19 year old Stephen Rogata from Virginia. He is expected to face several state charges probably by the end of today.
Why did he do it?
Turns out the guy put a video message to Donald Trump on YouTube yesterday and he says to Donald that he is climbing the building because he felt it was essential for him to talk to Donald about his campaign. Apparently after posting the video, he drove from Virginia to Brooklyn to personally meet Trump. If you’re wondering if he was trying to hurt Trump, he wasn’t! It appears he is a Trump supporter as he does tell people in his video to go vote for Trump.
Not impressed…or is he?
That guy must have nerves of steel! I can’t believe he was able to climb up outside the building using only suction cups without freaking out!! Unfortunately all his hard work was for nothing as Trump wasn’t even in the building—he was on the campaign trail. 🙁
Anyone else think Trump was behind this whole thing himself just for the free publicity? He seems to be an unstoppable PR machine and I feel like everything crazy or shocking he does is JUST to get everyone buzzing about him. This little stunt not only got Trump’s name trending everywhere and tons of news outlets went live to bring us updates BUT his Trump Tower got tons of free press too…win/win for Trump!
