It’s summertime and that means I get to wear one of my favorite looks for the summer: a halter maxi dress! I just fell in love with this elegant and romantic floral dress that I picked up for a night out and it’s quickly become a great buy for me. You guys know how much I love buying pieces that are budget friendly and classic!

I bought this dress because it screams garden party to me and I can picture me wearing it to various events. I can see me wearing this for drinks on a patio, to an outdoor summer wedding, or for a date night. Let me tell you, during the summer I don’t like wearing anything too sheer or too short. Especially when you’re outside, the wind can pick up and the last thing I want is to worry about my dress flying up or being too short. That’s why I love maxi dresses. They are so easy to wear and I love how they make me look taller.

Throw on some heels and a nice clutch and the dress becomes perfect for a fancier event. Throw on some flats and a cute straw hat and it’s perfect for wine tasting, patio fun, or checking out a summer festival. I love how the dress is semi sheer on the bottom so it makes it light but it also allows for more coverage, making it perfect for an elegant event.

I’ve gotten loads of compliments every time I wear this dress and I find myself reaching in my closet to wear this dress over and over again–it’s that comfortable! This is why this dress makes my #FashionFriday list. I have a feeling this is a dress I’m going to be wearing a lot for the rest of summer and the classic floral print makes it perfect to keep around for next summer! Easy to wear, pretty, and it’s a classic for your closet…#win/win!
