The inaugural Punjabi International Film Academy Awards (PIFAA) took place this week in Toronto and as part of the ATN crew, I was at every event. From the special Meet and Greet with fans to the press conferences and parties to the live awards show to the closing Teri Amrita play, it was a blast celebrating the biggest event in Punjabi cinema. I interviewed many of your favorite Punjabi stars including Om Puri, Divya Dutta, Prem Chopra, Kapil Sharma, and the Punjabi superstar himself Jimmy Shergill.

The actual awards show was amazing. It was funny and entertaining and truly a night of celebration of all things Punjabi. Congrats to the Parvasi Entertainment and Black Diamond Entertainment crew for putting on a great show and a big shout out to all of the great crew members, fellow media, and fans that made this weekend even more memorable.
